Old Toys

 

This exhibit has a variety of toys used by people from the Arcadia area. The toys range from a simple jar of marbles, paper dolls, wooden toys, and sleds to electric trains from the 1950s and 1960s.

Note the older simpler toys on top and the upper shelves: marbles, boxing gloves, wooden toys, paper dolls, and farm implements. The bottom shelf has Lionel electric trains from the late 1950s and 1960. The electric train in the lower right is a Marx train from the early 1950s. Note the cold war vintage Lionel missile car in the back on the right.

Note the small furniture in the background on the left and right. These were made by artisans from the Arcadia Furniture Company.
