Dr. Jamieson loved gardening, and he spent much of his
spare time tending the substantial vegetable garden, flowers, and shrubs
that adorned his yard. Dr. Jamieson served on the Arcadia School Board,
was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, served as director of the
Arcadia State Savings Bank, and was president of the Manistee County
Medical Society. He served the area for 45 years as doctor, surgeon,
pharmacist, and dentist. This private home has undergone several
renovations, since Dr. Jamieson lived here.
