Buildings along Division Street beginning at 4th Street intersection
This church (far left in the photo) was built on land
purchased from the Starke
Land and Lumber Company for $1.00. The members of this small congregation pledged
work time, building materials, and/or money for its construction. A.H.
Stockman tore down his barn, and much of the salvaged lumber was used to
construct the church. The total construction cost was $1,376.
